FULL VIEW PLEASE!!

Got this mental image watching a tv ad for LJ hooker or something :) The image was a beautiful young girl with really prominent eye sockets. This is of course another drawing of a lolita. The dress is kind of alice-in-wonderland-ish, but I tried to keep the costume conservative so that you could imagine someone a few centuries ago actually wearing it.

This is by far the most detailed painting I've done. This time I wanted to really sit myself down and get it down properly.

The theme here is a classical 18th century type portrait. I tried using grey-ish colours to give it an antique look.

I realized that I was really bad at selecting colours and for that matter telling one tone from another, so I tried to challenge myself in that area this this painting.

Though I finished up with the result that I wanted, this painting is very reserved and motionless like everything else I do xD. Next time I must try something more dynamic and outrageous.

hehe well to me it's that the face is actually slanty in a weird way. If you look at this in the mirror looks REALLY disproportionate. But I worked out that right handed people can't tell when things are slanted towards the right xD

o_O really?...weird...maybe we look at it with a slight tilt to the head or something. The fridge though looks to be shaded from more of a front on their a slight side on.
